March 16
9:30am-3pm
@ the Swift Current Public Library
Facilitator Elaine Ebenal from the Saskatchewan Literacy Network
The Benchmark Portfolio workshop looks at portfolios as a concept, a process and a product. It walks participants through the development of portfolios as a tool for building self esteem, for tracking progress towards individual goals, for demonstrating what the person knows and can do in a wide range of settings. The workshop deals with portfolio use as an academic tool, as a personal development tool and as an assessment tool. The workshop is interactive with participants trying out some of the tools and having time for reflection. Participants are given an opportunity to share any portfolio work they are currently doing and will be given a look at an actual portfolio
Pre-registration is required - Space is limited
